Barbara's Ideal Stay

Although we cannot travel far, my husband and I would love to pretend. I imagine a feeling of being miles beyond home, in a place of luxury, hospitality and warmth. We would tour the St. Claire, learn about its history, and experience its old-world ambience. After dining at Il Fornaio, we would retire to the comforts of a thoughtfully appointed suite. Spoiled, we’d return home, having experienced a complete vacation at a Larkspur hotel.
