Get up on a cool fall morning and slip into something respectable enough to go out to get coffee and a pastry to take back to the room for a leisurley wake up shower, plan a couple of activities and see where the day takes me. A light dinner, some dancing and back to the hotel for a quick shower and crawl between deliciously cool sheets. Ahhhhhhhhh………

My wife and I would be ecstatic if we could duplicate a portion of what was for us the “MOST AMAZING WEEKEND OF OUR LIVES”. In 2009, we gathered at a Larkspur hotel with 75 people to celebrate our marriage. The accommodations were perfect. The staff was excellent, helping to distribute our welcome bags. Rehersal and desserts were on the terrace. The views and weather were spectacular. The food was scrumptous. Truly an Ideal Stay!

We eagerly arrive, anticipating the weekend. We eat the freshest seafood, head to the spa to enjoy our pre-arranged couple’s spa treatment. OMG, sublime! Afterwards, enjoy champagne and dinner at the hotel, then melt into the evening.
Day2- finds us, gallery hopping, wine tasting, and ending a perfect evening at a little hidden jazz club.
Day3 – We go crabbing, refresh, take a long stroll, laugh, discover a new restaurant, and depart happy

I stayed at Larkspur hotel in California!! Woop woop! I have been to the one in San Fran 3 times already! I’m always welcomed by friendly people, and the people remembered me from last time! So I sit with them and have wine and talk about more things to see and do around the city. It’s like home away from home…that’s ideal…finding a place where the people are memories of your vacation.

My Ideal stay is a “clean” room that has everything you may need for any kind of trip we may be on if it is business or pleasure. I love San francisco. But what would make it ideal to me is if it was my wedding night we have been engaged for 15 years and we want to get married but always something happens and we put it off! That would by my ideal stay!

My ideal stay was in your sunnyvale hotel. i had a quiet, relaxing time, the staff were very hospitable and there were free dvd movies to avail. my room was clean and beautiful.

My ideal stay overlooks the ocean. Sitting on a patio for breakfast looking out on the water, while drinking fresh squeezed orange juice. Then a relaxing walk in a small town where everything is just a half step slower, and that’s a good thing. A large king sized bed and a window that looks out onto the ocean completes the picture as ocean waves lull me to sleep.

My ideal stay would be to be close enough to fab shops, a lovely little bistro type restaurant right next door, a lovely barman called Kevin who remembers us. The rooms would have to be medium sized, enough to ‘swing a cat’ (old English proverb!) and a really smart bathroom with lots of slimming mirrors. Am I describing somewhere I went summer 2010?

A beautiful location. Delightful staff, quietly taking care of business. Comfortable accomodations and a cozy-comfy bed. Time for fun, exercise. great food and sight-seeing. Yet finding quiet, calm
surroundings to support moments of rest and introspection. Special moments, creating fond memories. Enjoying the time spent…looking forward to returning.
